Welcome to the homepage of the Finnish Thermal Analysis and Calorimetry Association

The Finnish Thermal Analysis and Calorimetry Association is part of the Finnish Chemical Societes. The members of the group are interested in thermal analysis (including pyrolysis), and calorimetry in all its aspects.

The Association promotes collaboration and communication between the members, and widens the national awareness and knowledge on thermal analysis and calorimetry. The Association is active in the organization of thermoanalytical courses and other educational events whose material is also occasionally published. An important task of the Association is to maintain the international relationships to other corresponding organisations.

The Finnish Thermal Analysis and Calorimetry Division was founded in November 2001 and the name was changed to The Finnish Thermal Analysis and Calorimetry Association in 2013. Today, the number of the members is close to 100.

The membership can be granted to persons, societes, and companies, which are interested in thermoanalysis and calorimetry.
